So I was talking to Chris and I wanted to start a fun new tradition for us to do this year for Thanksgiving.

So I was on pintrest.

Which I am OBSESSED with, like maybe even more obsessed with PINTREST that I am FACEBOOK.

Can you believe that.

Well I saw this cute little pin that had a thankful tree on there like this one...

And I decided we should do a Thankful tree.

But I never really got around to it.

So I have been posting our thankful posts on facebook and I also wanna blog about it.

I know I am really behind on my blog. They are saved and unfinished.

Life has been crazy and hectic.

So I am going to do my thankful posts.

Letter A.

I am thankful for Attitude and how its your own choice how your attitude is and how your attitude will be for your day and for your life. And everyone who has helped me build up my attitude.

Chris is thankful for the attention that I give to him.

Letter B

I am thankful for all the many blessing I have received and will receive.

And Chris well he is thankful for breasts. Go figure lol.

Letter C.

I am thankful for CHRIS and the amazing man he is to me.

I am so happy he is mine and all the great things he does for me and Lola.

He cooks for me, cleans, works so hard for us. And he motivates me to do so much better with myself and my life. I love you so much!

Chris is thankful for Christ because if it weren't for him we wouldn't be here today.

Letter D

I am thankful for my DAD. He is such an awesome guy that does so much for me and my family and everyone he is around. His selflesness and his patience with me.

I love you dad!

Chris is thankful for the determination that we have in our relationship to do better and move forward.

I am thankful for exercise and the motivation Chris is to me and that I have to want to exercise and have a healthy happy lifestyle.

Chris is thankful for encouragement. For all the people in his life who encouraged him in his good and bad times and never giving up on him. I am grateful that he encourages me as well.

I am so thankful for my family. From my extended family, my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, parents, sisters.

And my little family of me Chris and Lola. I love you all so much. And miss you all too!

Chris is thankful for forgiveness. Because everyone messes up so we all need to be forgiven . That's what the power of forgiveness is for.

Yup... I did it again/ Chris' 22nd Birthday

Well I dyed my hair brown again..

I was ready and needed a change and my hair was FRIED from all the bleach in it.

So I thought why not go brown.

Plus Chris LOVES it so thats good too, right?

On a side note nothing too exciting happened in August.
Volleyball started so I am reffing that and working.
Chris is keeping busy with work and taking good care of me.
He turned 22 on September 1st.
His original plan for his birthday was I bought him a ticket to go to Seattle to see his old friends and just spend some time up there. But we ended up having to move out of out place and a few other things came up so we had to put his trip on hold.
But I acted like we weren't doing much for his birthday.
So he thought I was just bringing him breakfast to his work.
But I ended up going to the dollar store and getting a bunch of balloons and candy and some other stuff along with his breakfast to take to his work.
I also got him a card with some gift cards in it and the new Lil Wayne Carter 4 cd.
His face was priceless going into his work.
After work we went to Applebees for dinner.
It wasn't a huge special birthday but I tried my hardest.

He always gives me great advice

I am so glad I have spent another b-day and another year with this boy.

We have been through a lot and I wouldn't change any of it for the world.

Rex Family Reunion. Nanny and Grandpa's 50th Wedding Celebration.

In the last weekend in July we had a family reunion with the Rex side of the family.

We were celebrating my Nanny and Grandpa's 50th wedding anniversary.

Which meant we got to go to Richfield and see BOTH side of the family which is ALWAYS a bonus.

We went up to Richfield Thursday night.

We stayed at Grandma and Grandpa C's which is always a bonus.

Grandma even made us two batches of peanut butter bars.

MMM I love them.

So we got to Richy and visited with the Christensen family.. Aunt She, Rish, Ty, The Barclays and Grandma and Grandpa C!

I love being in Richfield and spending time with family.

Then we headed over to My Nanny and Grandpas house to see the other side of the family.

My Uncle Kevin made a really awesome slide show of my Nanny and Grandpas first 50 years of marriage.

It was fun to see the pictures of my mom and her siblings when they were little.

My mom was a used to be a little chunck. Can you believe that?

Because I couldn't haha.

They slide show made me a little teary eyed. But then again what doesn't.

The next day we woke up BRIGHT and EARLY and headed up to Manti.

The parents did a session in the temple and the kids did baptizims.

My cousin Celeste, Addie and I watched my Uncle Jud's girls.

They are SOOO adorable.

And oh boy let me tell ya we had a ball!

We finished getting ready in the visitors center bath room.

Added some curls to the girls hair.

Then we played lots of fun things outside,

Like...

Dance concerts.

Sang songs.

Ring around the rosies.

Played tag..

Then we got hungry and I was craving a COKE so we drove down to Millers Drive Inn.

We all got ice cream and had a ball.

Finally everyone was done at the temple.

We went to the motel to check in.

We stayed at the Temple View Lodge

Got changed and went to the luncheon at the Manti House,

The food was much better then when I remembered it last time.

We heard stories about how nanny and gpa met ate laughed and just had a good time.

Since there wasn't a pool in Manti or really anything else to do we decided to walk up Manti's main street and checked out all the cute little shops.
We had a fun time.

We got back from window shopping and put a blanket on the grass and just relaxed while the little girls and adults took their naps.

Then my mom and Uncle Jud decided that we were going to have hot dogs and salads and chips for dinner.

So while that was being prepped for all of us we were playing volleyball and sat around and chatted.

After that we walked up to the temple to watch the sunset. It was BEAUTiFUL.

Then we walked back to the motel and had s'mores for dessert.

The next day we woke up, had breakfast and parted our ways.

Some of the family went back home and the rest of us went back to RICHY!

We hung out some more.

Went swimming.

I think I want to make more of theses but do just a T then a & and a C too.

So thats what I wanna work on next.

It was so much fun seeing both sides of the families and spending time with them as well.

Scotsdale Trip July 2011

July is honestly my FAVORiTE month out of the WHOLE year.

I LOVE the weather.

I LOVE the Holiday's that are celebrated.

I LOVE the food.

And I LOVE the fact that I got to see my family Three times that month.

I think that's a new record since my family moved down to AZ.

My first trip was going to Richy for the 4th. I already blogged about that.

Then there was the Christensen family reunion...

but... I ended up going down to Scotsdale with Chris to hang out and be with his family.

We got to Scotsdale and this was something very different for me because I have never been here so it was a lot of fun to be in a big town with lots of fun stuff to do.

We went to Dave and Busters to have dinner and play arcade games with Chris' Uncle Andy and his girls

They are so adorable.

But of course I forgot my camera.

Then we layed out by the pool a lot.

Went shopping

and clubbing too.

It was a nice and very much needed vacation.

It's Friday. Friday. Getting down on Friday.

Or however that songs goes...

Yeah it's Friday night and I am blog stocking.

I am lazy and tired.

And lucky me gets to open the daycare tomorrow bright and early at 5 in the AM.

This week has been so long long long week.

I am SOOO looking forward to The Christensen Family Reunion in K-town.

I can't wait to see my family and for everyone to FINALLY see the Kingman house!!!

It's going to be so much fun!

I am also trying to manage the time I am spending at work...

I feel bad. I go to work before Chris, and I am still usually at work when he gets off.

I feel like I have been neglecting my honey pretty bad...

I have been grouchy.

Very short with Chris.

Onery.

Oh did I mention GROUCHY.

Honestly my name could be Oscar the Grouch and I could live in a garbage can on Sesame Street.

So needless to say I left work early on Wednesday to have some much needed "Tori and Chris" time.

And it was lovely and wonderful.

I really appreciate Chris for all the many things he does for me.

From the little to the big things I love it all...

Brings me drinks to work.

Lunch dates.

Always calling and checking up on me.

Making sure I am ok.

Letting me take naps.

Making me dinner.

Cheering me up.

Giving me hugs.

His kisses.

Always looking out for me.

Our daily walks with Lola.

(Oh by the way we got a dog. She's a boxer. Her name is Lola and she is 1 and a half years old)

Laughing together.

Grocery Store Runs.

Wrestling.

Watching my shows with me.

Just every little and big thing we do.

We do it together.

It means so much to me.

And I love him.

Anywho...

upon my blog stocking I came across a really really awesome blog that I feel in love with for a few reasons...

1. I love quotes.

2. It has pretty awesome quotes.

3. Just because it's something fun and new.

Its called Things We Forget.

It's pretty awesome.

And I think it'll help me blog more often, I hope.

If I find a good quote on it I am going to use it and quote about it.

Chris offered some advice like this to me so I think this one is perfect.

I just gotta remember to take things one thing at a time.

And not get overwhelmed.

And not bring my work home with me.

It may be hard at first but I know I can do it,

I have had two good days without being grouchy and I am very happy.

Fourth Of July Weekend

Warning: I only took like two pics this whole weekend, so this is a post without pictures sorry.

For the longest time I kept asking Chris what do you wanna do for the 4th of July.

I kept telling him how much I love the 4th and how it's my very most favorite holiday of the year.

So I knew my parents were going to go boating but later that week I found out that my boss was going out of town and that I had to close the daycare Friday night and I had to open Saturday morning and I had to close that night.

So Chris was like let's go up to Richfield.

I will always tell him how much I love the 4th Of July in Richfield.

It's the best Holiday ever. I just go on and on about this lovely holiday.

When he told me that I was SOOO excited!!!

I hurried and facebooked my Aunt Sheila and my cousin Melissa.

I told them I had some really exciting news.

My Aunt Sheila thought I was telling her that I was engaged. I just laughed.

So mine and Chris' original plan was to head up to Richy on Sunday the 3rd.

But Friday night Addie called me and told me that the boat broke down and I honestly thought she was kidding. But she wasn't.

So my parents and Addie decided to come up to Richy for the 4th too.

So I called my dad and we had the idea that Chris and I could just ride up with my family to Richy.

My dad was nice enough to wait for Chris and I to get off work.

We ended up leaving STG around 6 on Saturday night.

We got to Richy around 8.

And we met up with everyone at Grandma C's.

It was so nice to see my Aunt She, Ty Ty, Rish and Grandma B,

The Barclay family man I've missed them sooo much!

It was also nice to FINALLY meet my adorable twin cousins. Gavin and Emma and to see Chad and Aubs too they are soo sweet!

Grandma made us all some delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, they were divine!

I love both my Grandma C's and my nanny's cooking!

We visited at Grandmas with everyone for a while and then my family headed over to my Nanny's.

That's where we stayed.

It was nice to visit with Nanny. I love her!

We had a lovely Sunday at church and then had an amazing Sunday dinner that my Nanny made us.

We had our usual Sunday night visit at Grandma C's.

Ate way too much and just had a great time.

My Uncle Kyle and his family arrived that night. I haven't seen them in about 2 and a half years.

I can't believe how big and tall all of his kids are. 4 out of the 6 kids are taller than me. How hard is that tho.

I woke up on the 4th to the cannons.

Then went back to sleep for a bit.

Then woke back up to curl mine and Addie's hair.

Got ready.

Made Chris some breakfast and we were off to the parade.

I loved the parade just showing Chris everything and telling him who was who.

I think he got a bit overwhelmed.

Then he left and went golfing with my parents. He thought I was going to go with him and I just kinda laughed... Me and golf don't go to well together.

Plus I wanted to go to the park and enjoy the festives there.

And I had to get some snow cones and cotton candy!

It was good to see some old friends and catch up with them.

I also got to hear my cousin Tyler sing at the park and he did an amazing job!

After the park we headed over to my grandmas had some lunch.

It can't be any time with my family if we don't play sports.

So we found a gym and played some Christensen family Basketball.

It was fun and mine and Chris' team dominated everytime.

We also got to play a little volleyball. That was great fun as well.

Then we had our famous 4th of July dinner at Grandmas.

We made Chris try everything from: punchie, white stuff, bbq turkey, frog eye, potato salad, frog eye, peanut butter bars and fruit salad.

Out of everything he tried I think he liked the peanut butter bars and frog eye best!

We couldn't stay for the fire works, we had to head back home because we all had work the next day :(

All in all it was an amazing 4th of July.

I am so glad Chris got to meet everyone and see what a Richfield 4th of July is all about!

Lake Days 2011

Dear Summer/Warm Weather/ Sand Hollow...

Oh how Chris and I have missed you dearly.

Thank you for FINALLY warming up enough so we can go to the lake.

I love spending Sunday afternoons at the lake with my honey.

We have enjoyed our lake time this far, this summer.

And we are looking forward to many more Lake Days.

So these past few weeks we've had some changes at my work.

One of the original owners of Adventure World Academy bought out one of the other owners.

So we've had some good positive changes at work.

I became the front desk-office manager.

I am doing the billing and taking care of the other stuff at the front desk.

I am also making salary.

And yes. I do have a LOVE-HATE relationship with salary.

I've had some pretty long work weeks and I feel like I have neglected my boyfriend several times.

I know with the changes going on we have lots to do, so that's why I have been putting in the long hours.

But words from a great wise man...

AKA my dad. He always taught me that if I work hard in no matter what I do, it'll pay off.

I knew my hard work at the daycare-preschool would pay off and it has.

I do miss being in my classroom with my kids but I am grateful for this new opportunitiy!

One year....

I honestly can't believe I met Chris a year ago, and we have been dating for a year.

We can thank his mom for introducing us.

We met on Monday May 17 2010, at my work.

I was so nervous when I saw his family walk into the daycare.

I was just freaking out and wondering who this good-looking guy was.

And his mom introduced us.

Then I wrote him a little note that went something like this:

Hey Chris it's Tori from the preschool.

I think you're really cute and we should hang out sometime.

Then I put my number on it.

And put it in his little sister's bag and later I found out his mom found it first and then gave it to him, then I got a text and he asked me what I was doing that Friday.

So we went on our first date on Friday, May 21st 2010.

He came and picked me up and he had some roses and I honestly wanted to melt...

We went to Applebees.

I honestly was so freaking nervous the whole time I felt like I was sweating SOO bad.

Then we went and saw Iron Man 2. I hadn't even seen Iron Man 1 so I was a little lost but I didn't care because I was just so happy I was on a date with Chris.

Then after that we went to his house and watched a movie.

And had out first kiss.

Then we went on another date on Saturday night and he brought me more roses. I was yet again a very happy girl.

And I am pretty sure we hung out on Sunday too.

When I saw this quote I knew it was meant for me and Chris.

It's still one of my quotes...

We spent the summer going on lotts of dates, going to the lake a ton, hanging out,

I know we met for a reason and that you moved to STG for a reason.

And I am so glad we met and we are dating.

You make me so happy.

On our Year anniversary we went and saw Pirates with our new friends Bryce and Olivia.

My 21'st Birthday

I had a lovely 21st Birthday!

Thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes.

I woke up so very early, about at 6:30 to head over the the DMV in Hurricane.

Because everyone was telling me that there are always so busy and it'll take me forever to get my liscence.

So then I got there at about 8 a.m. and was in and out of the DMV in about 15 minuets.

So I went into work at 10 and got off at 2.

Chris brought me some balloons and roses to work, it was so cute!

Went and donated some plasma, did a little birthday shopping for myself and went and go ready and went out to dinner to my favorite place. Olive Garden.

It was deliciously divine.

And that was my birthday.

It went by way to fast

But I had a great day. Here's to another fun year with many new and fun life experiences.

A bit of a Venting Blog.

Yeah, I know I haven't blogged in a Month or so.

School is over the crazy life is settling down.

And I have my computer back.

(Chris' stepdad borrowed it for a job interview he had.)

This next part could offend some people, but I could really care less...

This is MY blog.

I need to vent.

So too bad.

I just wanted to start out about how crazy life can be.

Even the smallest things that you don't really think about like:

What you said to someone...

Being there for "friends"...

I guess the competition of who is the better Best Friend..

Or venting to a friend...

Could completely change relationships with old friends.

Who I really thought were my friends.

Some things were said.

I don't regret saying them.

It's just crazy someone you were friends with for years.

Someone who I thought I trusted.

Someone who was a dear friend...

Turned their back on me fast.

I don't understand it.

It made me loose two good friends..

Or a least I thought they were good friends..

But I found out that life goes on...

I still have some great dear friends from my past.

And so pretty sweet new friends too.

And I have my amazing family.

And my two awesome sissys.

This is why I believe everything happens for a reason.

I don't know what the reason is.

But I know I am trying to be a better person because of it.

I am done wasting my time with people that I don't need in my life.

So BUH-BYE!

I have too many amazing people in my life right now and I will focus my time with them.

Another Bored Blog

Well it's Saturday night.

Chris is playing video games.

My brain is dead from studying this whole week and today.

My day consisted of a class I had to take for work from 8-1.

I can't wait till March is over and then maybe I can have my Saturday's back.

But probably not because I'll probably start reffing basketball again.

But that's okay because it's money and I get some exercise too.

And everyone's favorite getting yelled at by the players. HA NOT!

Anyway. I woke up at 7 like I do everyday.

Got ready for my class.

Which I was so very excited about.

It's called Help Me Grow: Ages and Stages.
I thought it was going to be this was fun class about how kids grow up and the different ages and stages they are but I was SO wrong. It was nothing I was expecting.

This was more about doing tests and studies on my kids in my class and seeing if they are behind or not.

I hate to break it to ya people.

But I am only 20 years old.

Who am I to tell my kids parents if something is wrong with their child.

At their age there are so many things that could be going wrong with them and that's why they are acting the way they are.

So needless to say I HATED the class.

But like my dad said... take it with a grain of salt.

I am NOT looking forward to the second session of the class next week.

So after the class I ran home took Jacey to work.

Went and picked up Chris so we could have lunch together.

Oh yeah Chris' car is broken and has been for two weeks so he is carless.

Poor kid.

So his mom and I both try and help out in ways we possibly can.

After that I went over to Britt's to study for our Biology Midterm that we have on Monday.

Yeah, I am freaking out A LOT!

Thank goodness I have her in the class.

She's so smart and comes up with the funniest ways to help me remember what we study.

After that I picked Chris up from work and we went back to his house and we both just totally crashed.

It was a great three hour nap.

I don't think either of us will be getting good sleep tonight tho. haha.

I had an ok spring break.

It was nice to just work and study this week.

But back to my other real life with work and school and everything else.

Oh did I mention that Britt and I are playing on a woman's b-ball city league?

I love it. Finally STG well Washington is getting their stuff together and getting some b-ball in for us.

Life is going pretty well.

I have a job. Can't complain.

Chris is doing amazing at Sprint.

I have an amazing boyfriend who does SO much for me.

Listens to me when I cry and always offers good advice.

Puts up with me when I am cranky.

Will rub my back or arm to help me sleep.

He understands that at the end of the day I am pooped and I may or may not fall asleep watching a movie with him.

I fall asleep more than not.

I have great friends.

I am glad I've kept in contact with a few girls from high school.

I love those three girls very much.

Morgan. Kylie Boo. Brianna.

We talk. Text. Facebook. I wish we could talk more and see each other more.

But we've got years of friendship and loads of memories and laughter and I wouldn't trade any of that for the world.

I have great new friends too.

And my fav haha Jacey Loo.

We've gotten really close and me her and Chris are the three musketeers.

She calls me her big sister and I call her my little sister.

She is a great friend and I am very glad we met and I know she moved into B-9 for a reason!

I have an amazing family who loves me very much and I love them.

I miss all of them dearly.

From my close family to my extended family.

I am so thankful for my parents and all they do to help me.

Red Lobster Date

Chris LOVES Red Lobster.

I'm not a fan of fish at all.
We were going out to dinner a few weeks ago and he asked if we could go to Red Lobster.

So I said okay. I was just hoping they had someone else to eat other than fish.

So I got the Grilled Maple Chicken, it was really really good.

Chris got the Coconut Shrimp and Crab Legs.

I LOVED the biscuits they have there.

I tried Chris' food. I wasn't too found of the crab but the shrimp was SOOO good! I loved the sauce.

Later that weekend, Chris and I went to Walmart. Being the amazing boyfriend he is, he carried all of my groceries out to my car.

Valentines Day 2011

Well since I have school on Monday's and Chris worked late.

We were both on a pretty tight budget so we were just gonna fix dinner and watch movies.

So Chris and I were texting that day, while I was in Bioligy and he asked if he could cook for me.

And let me tell you. Chris is an amazing cook.

I really lucked out.

I told him he had to be a good cook because I can't cook if my life depended on it.

So he made me one of my favorites Manicotti.

And it was sooo good!

So I got to his house and he walked me into his room and I walked into this...

It was so cute and simple.

And I honestly LOVED it so much!

We had an amazing dinner.

Exchanged cards. Read them. Had dessert. And watched a movie.

I wouldn't have traded it for the world.

Chris is so sweet and thoughtful.

I am glad we had a great first Valentines together.

And I'm looking forward to more in the future.

Kingman Trip

Okay so I know this happened like a month ago.

But I have been a bit busy. I feel so bad when I neglect my blog.

It makes me feel very sad.

I LOVE reading other people's blogs and I know it's fun to see what people update their blogs on.

So here is my trip to Kingman to see one of Addie's last games.

And I was lucky enough to be able to spend time with Nanny and Grandpa.

Addie's game was awesome.

I forgot how fun it was to watch her DOMiNATE the court.

She honestly played so amazing and I was so glad we all were there to watch her.

It was so cute too because, her coach told her after the game that he prayed that she would play good for her family. And she did. Ah I love her coach.

He is such an awesome, true, down to earth kind of guy.

Anyways the game was so fun and intense. It was so fun to have our family cheering section there.

And I got the whole family to do it.

It was AWESOME!

I've been really in to the fake lashes lately so Britt and I wore them in Kingman.

And I curled my hair for the first time with the part down the middle.

It was nice to have a good, fun, relaxing weekend with the family.

#1. I wish I had more time to blog. I really do love blogging but at the end of the day when I am done with work and school all I wanna do is have "lay time" with Chris. Watch movies and relax.

#2. I have NEVER flown on a airplane before. I know I need to get with it. It was my goal to do before I turned 21 but I highly doubt that's going to happen. Well better hopes for another year.

#3. I have never worked at a job for a full year. So here is my yay I've been at a job for a whole year!!!

My AMAZiNG little BiG Sissy!

Last weekend I had an AMAZiNG time with my family and Nanny and Grandpa.

Britt Dre and I ventured down to Kingman to watch Addie play in one of her last games.

And she had an AMAZiNG game.

Number one. She was healthy enough to play.

that poor girl and her diabetes.

We never know how her health or blood sugar will be.

Number two. She had....15 points. 13 assists. 10 rebounds.

One of her best games EVER.

And they WON!!!

I know there were lots of prayers for Addie and her team.

That's always a plus. It was such an intense game. I LOVED it.

It was cute her coach.

Coach Gonz is one awesome man.

He knew we were coming for her game. And after the game he told her.. "Addie I prayed that you would play you're best tonight for your sisters and your grandparents."

All I can say is HE is an awesome coach who plays his players because they are hard workers and they love they game and want to play the game. He recognizes players for their talents and abilities.

He doesn't play players because of who THEiR parents are.

Or what part of town they live in.

Or by their religion.

Or because they are a "headache" BAHAHAH. Sorry I just had to throw that one in there for some people's enjoyment.

I am just thankful my sister FINALLY got some decent coaches. In both volleyball and basketball.

And the whole town and school can recognize someones talent for real reasons.

Not like the ones I posted above.

So the Kingman Daily Miner posted an amazing article on my sister and her day-to-day struggle with Type 1 Diabeties.

I don't think many people realize how hard it is and everything you have to go through.

All I know is my sister is STRONG and takes this with an open heart and mind and I am so proud of her.

Along with many of my other family members with Diabetics too.

I really hope one day they find a cure for this bad boy.

Senior Addie Christensen brings the ball up for Kingman High Jan. 21 against Goldwater. Christensen was diagnosed with diabetes when she was 2-1/2 years old and fights hard to stay on the floor.

KINGMAN - Baseball Hall-of-Famer Ty Cobb, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, and former Gonzaga University basketball standout Adam Morrison all have something in common with Kingman High girls basketball player Addie Christensen.

They played their sports with diabetes.

Christensen, a senior captain on the team, moved to Kingman with her family from Utah last year. Everyone around her immediately noticed her athleticism, and the only regret was KHS hadn't had her since she was a freshman.

What everyone soon discovered about Christensen is that she is the model of determination.

"She has the heart of lion," KHS coach Danny Gonzalez said. "She's made me a better coach. I always thought that I watched my players carefully, but now I see the game differently. I now understand I have to listen to my players."

Christensen wears an insulin pump under her uniform during games, and her diabetes isn't entirely under control. The senior missed just about the entire season last year and has missed a few games this year, too. She was out of school for two two-week periods last year, as she battled the disease.

When her blood-sugar level is high, she can sometimes fight through it and continue to play. But when it's low, she has to get off the court.

"Some days are more of a struggle," Christensen said. "Some have been where it's down for six to eight hours. We've asked tons of doctors, but we've got no answers. We're still trying to figure things out."

Christensen was diagnosed when she was 2-1/2 years old, and it has become an accepted part of her life. Her parents, Jeff and Michelle Christensen, attend just about every game she plays, and though they have gotten used to seeing their youngest of three children exert herself, it's still not easy.

"It is a little stressful," Michelle said. "Addie has always been good about it. She doesn't really know any different. It's her personality to go with the flow. She'll play whether it's high or low if she can."

One of the most difficult aspects of her playing career and diabetes is when she recognizes she's getting tired and her energy level sinks. She has to make the decision to not play.

"It's hard. I feel like I'm letting the team down, but I can't control it," Christensen said. "If I don't take myself out, it's just me being selfish because I'm not at my best."

No coach wants to see one of their best players leave the court, but Gonzalez knows it's for the best.

"She never gives up, and bless her, she can't control it," the coach said. "I've never heard any of my players complain about her not practicing in her two years here. That's because she presents herself well. I wouldn't change anything. I love that I've been able to coach her."

When push comes to shove, Christensen would certainly be thrilled if a cure for diabetes would come along. However, it has played a large role in who she is as a person.

"It makes me stronger, and it doesn't stop me from doing anything," she said. "It could be worse, and at least I can still play sports."

Christensen hopes to be on the floor when the Lady Bulldogs host O'Connor at 7 p.m. today.

Bored Blog

I'm sitting here at school...facebook and blog stocking.

And whenever I blog stalk I tend to want to blog more than normal.

I want to do that 30 day challenge thing but I know I couln't blog everyday. But I sure could try right?

Today's been a really good day.

I made peace with a person. That was very very much needed.

I workd with a bunch of cute kiddos. Too bad most of them were sick and cranky today :(

And not being the most obident.

But I still love those little ones so very much.

Took Chris a "Swig" drink and a Snickers to work.

On a side note. Long story short he got another new job...

He is a salesmen for Sprint. YAY!

And I am now at school. Dreading to do my Math homework and study for Biology.

And I'm hoping I am going to get home in time to play basketball with Chris tonight.

On another tangent I am looking forward for our NOT-Suprise visit to Kingman this weekend.

My dad spilled the beans.
I am finally making it down to Kingman for Addie's last game ever.

Bowling in Skeet Skeet

On Friday my roomie Susy asked if Chris and I wanted to go bowling with her and her friend Mani.

I asked Chris and he said yes.

We also invited my cute new roomie Jacey.

So we were getting ready and found out the STG bowling alley was having bowling leagues going on so we'd have to wait to go bowling.

So I decided lets just go to Mesquete and go bowling.

And it was a great idea.

Chris bowled an amazing game.

He had 10 strikes!

Yup, you heard me right. 10 FREAKING STRIKES!

Well school started this past week.

I have bittersweet feelings about this.

I am excited to be going to school with my big sissy.

Yes, Britt is going back to school.

She is doing all her pre-reqs for the nursing program.

I am slowly but surely getting closer to getting my assoicates.

I am going at my own pace. I am taking 11 credits this semseter.

I am taking math 2010. Bio 1010 (With Britt) and an online Cultural Diversity Class in Education.

I am really super excited.

On Tuesday of this week was the first day of school.

And MCC's always has free hot dogs on the first day of school.

Britt and I enjoyed it. But then Britt got a tummy ache :(

So I've really have been wanting my hair to be all super super blonde.

I live too far away from Melissa my cousin who usually colors my hair and I can't afford all the girls down here to color my hair.

So my dear sweet boyfriend said he would help me.

Tuesday night Chris helped me color my hair.

Thanks to Melissa for helping me with everything.

We started coloring it and Chris was doing awesome he was just going to town just doing work on my hair.

And the bleach was burning my neck and head like no other. Then we ran out of hair dye. So pretty much the first try of coloring my hair was an epic FAIL!

Here was the first try.

My hair was orange and brown in the places where the bleach missed it. So we had to go to Walmart.

And I honestly went into the store with a hood on my head.

Then we bought some box dye. I was soo nervous to use blonde boy dye on my hair.

It was late at night I was cranky and Chris just kept putting up with me.

And my hair turned out really really good!

I slept in today... untill 2.

I deserved it and I needed it.

I got a new roomie. She is 19 and she is super super cute! We get a long really well because she is a clean freak like me. So it's nice to have two of us in the apartment.

Well we have cleaning checks on Tuesday so we cleaned the apartment today.

Christmas in Kingman Year 2

Well we spent another Christmas in Kingman.

It was a lot shorter than my vacation last year.

But I guess that's what is it like to be a grown-up and to have a job and what not. I know so horrible huh?

All I honestly wanted for Christmas was to spend time with my family.

It wasn't all of them.

I did miss The Rex and Christensen extended family members but thank goodness for technology.

But it was amazing to see my FASHA, MASHA, LiTTLE BiG SiSSY ADDiE. AND OF COURSE B&&;D.

I have always always wanted to do ugly Christmas sweaters as a fun sister tradition.

And Britt and I found something even better....

Ugly Christmas Turtlenecks.

And oh boy are then AWESOME.

So we woke up early and left around 8:30 on Christmas Eve.

Got to K-Town around 12:30 and let the wonderful Christensen family bonding and traditions begin.

Dre and my daddy went golfing.

And the girls got dinner ready and got ready in our turtle necks.

And took lots of pictures.

Then we had an amazing Christmas Eve dinner.

Thanks Mom. It was BOMB

She even made white stuff.

And then we sang lots of songs around the paino for hours.

And picked out a song to sing in church.

Then we watched family home videos. (My fav) and went to bed.

Then we woke up at 9 or so. Crawled into my parents bed and waited for everyone else to wake up.

Poor Dre was sick so we let him sleep in for a bit longer.

My dad started making our breakfast.

(Sausage egg Mcmuffins) and right when they were ready Dre was awake.

So we enjoyed our wonderful Christmas morning breakfast and went and opened presents.
Then everyone wanted to go golfing.
Addie and I lasted 3 holes then walked back to the car and went home.
Then we played basketball later.
Addie and Britt beat me and dre... again...
But Dre was sick. So that's what I blame the loss on haha.
Then on Sunday we sang in church with my dad and my sissy's.
Even tho the break was short I enjoyed spending the little time we had with our family.
I loved it.

I FINALLY passed retard math. I really guess 4th times the charm or maybe its cause I wore these glasses all the time.

Okay. I am really joking. But Britt told me if I'd wear them I'd pass.

This Math class wasn't a A,B,C... class it was a pass/ fail class...

I honestly had the best teacher ever. And I am so excited to have him be my teacher for my next math class.

I ended up dropping my Spanish class.

It was on the same night as my math class and I couldn't handle it. I knew that if I was going to focus and pass my math class I knew I had to drop Spanish.

I also got an A in my Humanities class! Woo Woo!

A few weeks back Britt was supposed to do a photoshoot of me and my roomies. But they all ended up having to work. So, Britt and I decided to do a photoshoot of me instead.

I spent my first Thanksgiving not with my family.

It was different but I had a really really good time and I am very Thankful for Chris and his family for inviting me to eat with them.

It's fun to see how everyone does things different.

Different traditions.

Different foods.

But I enjoyed it.

And they did an amazing job to make me feel like home.

They always do.

I LOVE spending time with Chris and his family.

Jilly and Kayli are like my little sissy's.

His mom and step-dad are so sweet and nice.

And Brenton is always so sweet and nice too.

In the morning we had pumpkin rolls and bread for breakfast.

And they go to a movie before they eat dinner.

But Chris and I didn't go.

Because I have been BEGGiNG Chris to go play basketball with me.

It was even nice enough to play outside.

I let him win both games.

Just kidding but he killed me the first game, and I put up a harder fight during the second.

Girls Night

Now I think of the words "girls night"

What's that? Haha, since I'm always with Chris.

Which I LOVE. But, it's always good to have a girls night too.

Well me and the roomies and I have been planning a girls night FOR FOREVER.

Since last Friday was Susy's B-day. We decided that we will have a girls night.

I worked till 8 that night.

But I came home.

We got dolled up and went and ate at Olive Garden.

I LOVE everything about that place.

From the drinks, to the salad, breadsticks, and the spaghetti.

Yeah, I'm a plain Jane and get that every time, but I LOVE it!

Then we went Bowling. Man I did HORRiBLE!

And then we vegged out and just chilled at the apartment.

And had a sleep-over in the living room.

It was a WONDERFUL girls night.

The first 6 is... it's been 6 months since Chris and I went on our first date.

Ah, I can't believe it.

I am so thankful for his dear sweet mother, because she is the one who set us up.

The 4 is 4 months since we became "official"

I still tell people we've been dating for 6.

And the last 6 is... 6 months till I turn 21.

Haha I feel like I am growing up so fast.

It's weird how fast time has flown.

But I cherish every moment of my life and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Man, this week has been pretty crazy busy and stressful.

My class at work is filling up.

I had atleast 12 plus kids everyday.

It was so overwhelming but fun and testing at the same time.

Chris just always knows how to make me feel better.

He's so easy to talk to and gives great advice.

We've been working out at the gym every night this past week.

He's taught me lots of good workouts and it's been a lot of fun.

He is always motivating me to be a better person and helping me better myself, in everyway!

So Chris texted me today to see if he could come see me on his break.

I said yes, of coarse.

So I opened the door and he was standing there with a dozen pink roses.

I honestly wanted to melt.

I couldn't stop smiling.

It's so nice to have a good boyfriend who does nice things for you.

Ah I feel so blessed and lucky!

I'm a girl where the little things mean the most to me.

Recently Chris and I have discovered Netflix on his Xbox.

I am so addicted. It's wayyy better than redbox.

A Quick Trip To Richy

I got to go up to Richy for the weekend for two reasons.

1. My good friend and sis Joni got married on Friday.

2. Preston (my cousin) got baptized on Saturday.

I left super early Friday morning and got ready at my Nanny's house.

It was fun to visit with her and my grandpa.

My gramps' shop is coming along so well.

Him and my Nanny were working on painting and stuckoing the shop.

It's looking really good.

So Friday I went to the wedding at the luncheon.

Let me remind you that Joni is one of my first really good friends who have gotten married.

I am gonna miss my sis but I am so happy for her too!

Then me and my nanny ran some errends around Richfield.

It was good to see some people and catch up with some people from there.

Nanny and I went to the Dairy and got some yummy cream of broccoli soup.

Then I went home, freshened up and went to the reception.

The Ceremony was beautiful! I cried haha.

The reception was amazing.

They are always planning ahead. So I took single pictures of each of them and one of them together.

I was joking to Addie that maybe I could make a business of taking pictures of people for their obituaries.

I feel like I've been doing Halloween all weekend.

It started Thursday night when Amelia and I went to Thriller.

Then Friday I had the party at the pre-school.

The party was so fun.

We had no hand doughnut eating contests.

Guess the goo.

Crafts.

Whipped-Shaving Creme Painting.

Face Painting.

Mummy Wrapping.

Cookie Decorating.

Games.

And Trunk-Or Treating.

That night Chris and I went to Cedar City and went to The Howl there.

It was fun because we've never been to a dance together.

But it was sorta lame because it was only me and him.

But I loved dancing the night away with him.

And Saturday I was a bum for the first part of the day.

Cleaned my room.

And my roomies and me got ready to go to The Howl at Dixie.

Which was way more fun.

Too bad it took us forever to get ready

and forever to find Staheli Farms.
But for the little time we were there we had A BLAST!

On a side note I wanna brag about me being so crafty and being Miss Susy Homemaker.

I've never been to Thriller before.

But Britt and Dre have been.

Britt always tells me how much fun it is and how much she loves it.

So my roomie Amelia was telling me that we should go. So we decided to go.

We had front row seats which were SiCK!!!!

And it was the perfect way to kick off my Halloween Weekend and to put me in the spirit for Halloween.

I loved every second of it.

The dancing. The Zombies. The crazy "little girl", The guys in masks.

Which I might add that they pointed at me. I was FREAKiNG OUT!

But I loved it all and I am so happy I went.

And I saw the LOVELY Karolann Mason.

She did an awesome job as a Zombie.

But that wasn't the only lame thing he did.

Workout Schedule

Here is my workout schedule.

The card workout is.

You have face cards.

You shuffle them up and put 20 cards in 4 piles

and on the last one 12 cards.

2 minute rest in-between each pile of cards.

Hearts: (which is the shoulder press)

Diamonds: (Arms and legs opposite, make sure and keep arms and legs in swinging motion like a pendulum keep arms and legs straight) This will work your back, butt, arms and legs

Spades: Abs (make sure and go up and down and touch your shins. This works your abs and tummy.)

Spades: (one legged squats.)

The best way to start out is get a stool and do the squat till the stool or a small chair with someone holding your hands for help.

Until you get stronger and then go all the way down without someones help.

Like the person in helping in the picture, but make sure they are stand up.

Monday: Warm up. Jump rope for 1 min. Card work-out.

Tueday: Run Stars. (or run on the track or treadmill)

Wednesday: 1 min warm up jump rope. Card work-out

Thursday: Sprints.

Friday: Cardworkout. Squats, Shoulder Press. Abs, Opposite arms and legs and push ups.

Don't forget to do a cool down. Drink lots of water and Stretch!

Diet.

I had a few people ask me more about my diet like what I am eating and what I am doing for my work-outs.

The foods of this diet consisit of...

Breakfast foods:

A cup of Kashi-go-lean cereal. (Any flavor you want)

you can have this with a cup of milk(skim or 0% kind) with half a banana cut up on it.

Or with plain non-fat-yogurt with half a banana cut up on it.

Or a cup of yougart with a banana.

Half of an English muffin with one strip of turkey bacon and hard boiled egg whites.

A piece of wheat bread with soy peanut butter and a tiny bit of honey.

Lunch/ Dinner

Half a can of canned chicken and half a bag of iceberg lettuce.

(You can have some vinaigrette dressing but not too much)

Tuna with a piece of bread and sprinkle some cheese.

(sorry no mayo)

one chicken breast with a cup of whole wheat rice.

or a small sirloin with rice or a potato (if it's a big potato only have half)

hamburger (ground beef) with rice or a potato

tuna melt.

or even have a English muffin breakfast food.

And1/2 an apple or banana for dessert.

You can season your potatoes, rice and meat with butter spray and very little salt and pepper.

You want to balance out what you eat.

So if you have milk at breakfast you can't have it for the rest of the day.

Your fruits are a part of your desserts.

For snacks. (which are between lunch and dinner, that's when I do it)

1 cup of cheese its or gold fish.

1 cup of granola

1 cup of nuts

fruit

string cheese.

jerky.

Drinks.

milk (0%, skim)

Orange Juice

If you need you may have pop, but keep it diet.

You're supposed to drink a gallon of water every day.

The best thing to drink is water.

If you like fish you may have that as well.

The first week is the very hardest.

But I am doing good. I've done it for a week.

Lets start from this.

Chris is like a body builder.

And me and Kelsey want to get toned up and "improve out imperfections"

So one night we were talking to Chris and he said he would set us up a eating and diet plan.

So we started this week.

It has been pretty hard.

He said the first week is the hardest.

And welp, we are almost done with the first week.

So I've survived the first week.

And it's not really that bad.

I just drink lots of water.

It's a cleansing diet.

And it's pretty much cutting down on sugars, dairy and eating healther.

That means bye-bye to my daily caffeinated carbonated drink.

And working out.

I ran my mile on Monday in 9 minuets.

Not to bad but plenty of room for improvement.

And I've lost 5 pounds.

We started Monday October 18th.

We end: Monday December 20th.

Two months.

I can do this.

He got a job at Furniture Row/Sofa Market.

He is a Sales Manager.

So we decided to go out to dinner to celebrate.

We got all fancied up and went and ate at Benja's.

As we were going though it with the class, we got to the part where we had to write a note to one of our friends.

Well I didn't know some of the words from English to Spanish, so I made of some of my own.

Another Sand Hollow Trip

This last weekend, my friend and co-worker Kelsey invited me and Chris to go to the lake with some of our other friends.

Her man Braden has a boat and we haven't been on a boat at Sand Hollow yet.

So we both decided we wanted to go, while the weather is still semi-decent.

We had lots of fun.

Las Vegas, Labor Day Weekend

Chris turned 21 on the first.

So I'm going to give him a Happy Birthday shout out on my blog!

Happy Birthday Sweetie!

So his family decided they wanted to go to Vegas for the weekend and for his birthday.

Chris invited me to go.

We got there on Friday night.

On the first two nights we stayed at The Las Vegas Club.

It was a different hotel.
A bit ghetto.
So we had dinner at one of the casions ( I forgot the name of it)
It was okay, it had a prime rib special.
After that we walked around the old part of Vegas.
Right when you walked out of our hotel there was this cool enclosed thing that was like a strip that had a huge tv enclosing it and lots of little shops and what not.

For the first part of the night we stayed around the old part of Vegas and walked around with Chris & his family.
Then Matt, Mikayli, Brenton, Chris & Me (Chris' older siblings)
decided we wanted to go walk the strip.
But Tony, Christina & Jilly were too tired. They stayed at the hotel.

My cousin Melissa made sure to tell me to get lots of pictures with Chris, since she hasn't seen any pictures of him with his sunglasses off. So I took full and complete advantage of it.
Plus we don't have very many pictures of us anyway.

Day two: Saturday.
We slept in.
Went to Circus, Circus for Jilly.

All Chris really wanted to do for his b-day was go clubbing.

It turned out to be fum until every drunken crazy man was trying to hit on us.
I called Chris and told him to come save us.
We waited for him and Matt at Planted Hollywood.
Which was also scary.
Some more crazy drunken fools came up to me and Kayli and were asking us what we were doing for the night and I said we were waiting for our boys. And the nasty guy kissed me on the head and said I am your man tonight! It was soooo scary.
Luckily not much after that Chris came to the rescue! Haha!

This was right before the crazy drunken men attacked us.
Day three: Sunday
We left our Motel and went to a different one.
Which was MUCH better.
Chris and I got fired for picking out hotels.

Here we are leaving our Hotel.
We went to Fashion Place mall for the day.
Kayli and I didn't have near enough time in the HUGE Forever 21.
While we were in Forever 21 Chris was with his mom.
They were waiting for us when all of the sudden a man walking by them had a seizure.
Chris said it was scary.
His mom was a lot of help to the man before the paramedics came.
That night we ate at The Treasure Island place called Gilly's or something like that.
It's a good western place.
Chris and I have eaten there before.
But poor Chris had a tummy ache that day.
But he was a good trooper and stuck it out for the last night.
He even did a little gambling.
I stood behind him and watched, as careful as I could.
He got lots of compliments on his shirt.

He is Mr. Serious in most the pictures.
Anyway I had a GREAT Labor Day Weekend in Vegas with Chris & his family.

I spent a lot of fun summer days going to Sand Hollow.

I know its not even close to Lake Powell or Lake Mead.

But its close and its fun.

So I took full advantage of that this summer.

I honestly haven't been up to much lately.

I've just been working, going on random road-trips, and hanging out with Chris.

I am DREADiNG school is starting on Monday.

I am a little depressed that summer is already over.

This summer has honestly been soo good!

I've spent this summer with a really awesome boy too!

A quick trip to K-Town

Well I can say we made it safe to Kingman this time.

We didn't take the senic route though Needles CA.

We left SLC Wednesday and spent the night in Richfield at Grandma C's.

(On a side note that night we were over at Nanny's and I was helping Jud bath the girls. My phone was in my bra and I bent over to help the girls and splash... in goes my iPhone into the tub.

I turned it off and left it off over night. Right when I woke up I got anxious and turned it on. It was working fine. Then I plugged it in and charged it. That's when things went down hill.
Note to self... Let the phone dry out longer and DON'T plug it in to charge.
You think maybe I'd learn some patience. Me haha nope.
So my daddy-o and I came to a conclusion...
Since Addie dropped her phone a few weeks ago and the screen got completely messed up and she got a new phone. That I would take her old phone and take it to the apple store and get the screen replaced.

This is seriously how cracked her screen was...
It only costs 200 bucks to get the screen replaced, but I knew that's what I had do to since I couldn't afford to buy a whole new iPhone.
So on our way back Britt and I stopped at the apple store in Vegas. And holy shiz. It was so crazy busy in that store.
The sweet man who helped us was awesome. He put my sim card into addie's phone worked some magic, went to the back room and a few minuets later he came out with my phone with a new screen.
He brought out the receipt and it had a zero balance... I carefully looked over it and I said.."Wait doesn't it cost money??" And the sweet man said don't worry I took care of it, have a great day
Britt's reaction to that was my favorite... she said thanks and patted him on the back LOL
All I can say is someone was watching over me.... and it pays to be hot hahah!
Back to RICHY THO...
Anyway we visited with both of the families, but I was sad we missed Aunt Diane, Uncle Jerry & The Barcalys.
So on Thursday the 22nd of July we were off to Kingman. We made a quick stop in STG. So I could get some more clothes and Britt needed to get some stuff at here house too.
On a Tori Tangent...
I feel like I am slowly becoming an Arizona resident.
I am going to school in Az
and...
I no longer have Utah plates on my car.
Since my dad is AWESOME and still is helping me out the State Farm Car Insurance people didn't think it was okay to have your car insured under AZ and have Utah license plates.
So needless to say I have AZ plates. And my plates even have my FAVORiTE NUMBER 20 on it.
Yeah I was pretty excited!

We had a lot of fun stuff planned for Kingman.

Martha's Wedding

I was able to have all of last week off.

It was so nice.

On Wednesday July 21 2010 My cousin Martha Lusia Rex married the love of her life Derick William Hatfield.

I heard the ceremony was amazing and her wedding day was beautiful.

My mom and Addie came to STG last Monday.

We drove up to SLC on Tuesday and stayed at The Little America.

My 4th Of July wasn't the normal Richfield Festives.

No 3 on 3 basketball tourney with the sistas.

No parade, park, festives, cotton candy, snow cones, funnel cake, deep fried twinkies, bbq at Grandma C's, home-made rootbeer and ice-cram, no fireworks...NOTHiNG

But I am not complaining.

Because... FiNALLY!!!!

I got to go to the lake with my family.

It's honestly been 5 years since we took the boat out and went as a family.

So when I decided to take time off of work and plan what I was doing over the 4th, there wasn't a doubt in my mind that I knew I wanted to go boating.

And I so happened to bring a "special friend" with me to meet the parents.

It was so fun to spend time with the family and be at the lake.

And to FINALLY wake-board again.

I can say that me and the sisters are all about equal on the wakeboarding.

No one won that wb competition that trip.

During nap time last week, I was settling some kids down.

J asked if she could come sit on my lap, I said of corse.

So she sits on my lap but quickly gets up.

J said: "Miss Tori I wish I would have worn pants today."

I asked.."Why?"

J: "Because your legs are too prickly."

Me: "Sorry, J lets put your blanket down and you can sit on my lap and you won't get poked."

This made me laugh so hard.

I guess its pretty bad when a kid at the preschool tells me I need to shave my legs.

I'm not even a mom and I have to deal with all the grody stuff.

Slobber, Snot, Goober Hands, Germs, Accidents, Stinky Diapers.

I thought I had done it all.

Well Saturday I had quite a bit of kids.

In comes M...

Bawling hysterically.

Freaking out.

I am holding him to calm him down.

His Dad said he should be ok on eating he just had pizza.

Dad left. Kids are playing with play-dough.

M got really quite. Then he started coughing.

And BLEH...BARF.

I was sitting down he was on my lap.

It got EVERYWHERE.

My hair. My shirt. My pants. My shoes.

I had even sat in it.

Doesn't everyday working with kids bring a new adventure.

Good or bad.

This was a rather interesting experience.

Oh the joys of kids and teaching them and being with them all day.

I can't believe it's been two years since I've graduated high school & seminary.

Two years since the last time I got all dolled up in a big poofy dress with my girls

Two years since seeing my girls and spending time with them.

Being in our K&K Rebels Klub.

And two years since I went on the most amazing trip that changed my life.

I've now lived in the STG for two years. I guess I can call it my home now.

Time flys. People change and we grow.

I miss my girls from high school like crazy.

We had some killer fun times.

It's been good to see some of them, and I keep in contact with most.

Thank goodness for e-mail,skype,texting, and facebook.

Kindom Come to Kingman

Last weekend Britt, Dre and I went down to Kingman for the weekend.

We drove a different way, because when you drive the Hoover Dam way it takes wayyy too long.

So my dad gave us directions to go through Laughlin and Bullhead City.

So Britt drove, Dre and I were glued to our technological devices.

So we called my dad on the way down to see where the turn to Laughlin-Bullhead City was.

He said it was by a gas station and there would be signs so help us turn.

Somehow we end up in Needles California. I called my dad and asked him if we were supposed to be in California and he said yes... At this point we were driving on the sketchy ghetto road, in California.

We came up to Needles California and got off because apparently that's what my parents said. We couldn't read the road sings. So we were shining the brights on them. We took a complete circle to get off the freeway in Needles to find Kingman. Somehow we took a huge circle around Laughlin-Bullhead City and made it to Kingman.

Britt and I LOVE to tease Addie whenever we go visit her. We always tell her we aren't coming till the next day. I told her I had to work and I wasn't coming.

So Addie had a date and didn't get home till so late on Friday night.

I was talking to her on her way into my parents house. She pulled up to the house and saw B & D's car. She said wait.. Tor I thought B & D weren't coming till tomorrow. I said they aren't. And she said well whose car is outside the house and then, Britt and I were sitting on the porch and she saw and I said we got you...AGAIN.

I love that she falls for it, everytime.

Britt always has me talk to her when we trick her because I can lie and she can't.

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

I really enjoyed being with the family.

My parents have done even more to the house.

The backyard is a work in progress.

I love that house so much. It's now a cute little home.

My parents, & B&D went golfing on Saturday.

Addie and I went and laid out by the pool for a few hours.

We all got a little burnt.

And got squirted by the same group of boys.

After that we all took a little nap. Oh do I LOVE naps.

I rely on the daily!

Later that night we went to the church and balled it up. I was very rusty.

Sadly... A&B beat me and Dre. It was a sad day.

Sunday we went to church. Met lots of people and the sisters went and laid out by the pool.

And we watched Avatar as a family.

It was an AWESOME movie

On Monday Fash and Dre went golfing and the girls went and laid out by the pool.

While we were at the pool these little boys were checking us out and claiming which one they wanted. They were being very inappropriate. It shocked me that their mom didn't say anything. She sure has her hands full.

All in all. I had a great Memorial Day weekend.

I would have liked to have been at the lake, so I hope our boat gets fixed soon.

Last Tuesday at 10AM my best friend Stephanie Ann Horton called me.

She asked what I was doing and I told her nothing because Tuesdays are my day off. So she asked if it would be okay if she came to STG for the day. I said of coarse I'd love to see her and have fun! So she came up and brought her cute friend Jessica Wilde. She is so cute. We had so much fun. We went shopping. Took our mirror picture at Kohls. Tried on "skanky" dresses. Ate at El Pollo Locco. Shopped some more. Watched American Idol. Ate "nasty" Cold Stone. And Went to Letters To Juliet. Cried. Had good talks. Said "..... status" wayyy too much. Wrote On My Car & Said goodbye.

Thanks so much for coming down Steph. We will do it again soon! I love you!

I remembered some for funny things the little ones have said.

On Friday I did my hair in the poof.

Something similar to the picture below.

H: walks into the classroom and says.."Miss Tori is that a bump it in your hair?"

Me: "No its just my hair."

H: "How did you get your hair to go up that big?"

Me: "Hairspray."

H: "Oh. Well it looks pretty."

K&K are cute twins at my work. I will probably talk to you a lot about them.

The other day during circle time K&K asked "Miss Tori... Where do you work?"

Me: " I work here."

K&K: "How do you work here? This is your job?"

Me: "I work here because I like little kids and I like teaching you. Yes this is my job"

K&K: "Do you get paid"

Me:"Yes I do"

K&K: "Ok thats good. Just making sure."

Kids really do say the darndest things.

I am so happy I am documenting all the funny stuff my little ones say to me.

At work, I teach the 2-3 year olds.

Its so much fun. I get a kick out of some of the stuff they say.

Here are some funny things they have said lately.

We wear a specific outfit. Our AWA t-shirts and dress pants/shorts.

So one day one of the kids asked me a question.

K: Miss Tori.

Me: Yes?

K: How come you wear the same clothes everyday?

Me: This is what we have to wear to work.

K: Well... Do you wash your clothes at least?

Me: Of coarse I do, that's gross.

K: Ok good!

Today I told the kids that I get to see my family today and that they are coming up from AZ and that I am so excited! They asked me.. Why don't you live with your parents. I tried to explain to them, but it didn't work to well.

On one of my work shirts I got bleach stained on it from cleaning up something at work. Yesterday "M" asked me... "Why do you have yogurt on your shirt".

Yesterday I was changing "M's" diaper. I was grabbing a tampon out of my purse so I could go potty after I changed her. I put it down my shirt. "M" said..."Ooooh Miss Tori what's that? Is it a special treat for me?" I told her"No. It's something for me, and she would understand when she was older." She pulled down my shirt and said "where did it go? I want it" haha. She cracks me up.

As I am sitting here not being able to sleep and thinking about life. I thought of something pretty sweet and stole some ideas from blog stalking-hopping.

Here are 20 things I'd like to accomplish this year.

1. Read the BOM again.

2. Get my life in order.

3. Write in my journal & blog more.

4. Work out at least 3 times a week

5. Lose 10 pounds. Give or take.

6. Become more self reliant on myself
