Summer 2009 The Beginning

Well I finished my first semester of college! I had many great learning experiences. I am happy for most of the choices I've made. My family has been such a great support from my freshman year and I mean every single person in my family. Thanks to all who helped me through all of my hard times. I don't know what I would have done with out all of your love, support, help, good long talks, just everything. Thanks to all of you. I love you all so very much!

I know I havne't blogged in forever, but I finally have some time before I go into work, so I can blog! In the past few weeks I've been working but I also was home in Richfeld a few weeks ago for my best friends farewll. Elder Weston Brent Prisbrey. We've been friends since sixth grade. I am so greatful that we became friends. Our friendship grew a lot colser our freshman year when we started hanging out more and just talking and getting to know each other a lot more. Then we became best friends our junior year when he asked me to the junior prom. It was the best date I've ever gone on. I won't have wanted any other boy to ask me. I am so happy Weston asked me. Anyway sorry I'm blabbing. Weston did so amazing in his talk, I've never heard a pre-missionary do so good. He has such a strong and amazing testimony of the gospel. I love it! He is such a great example to me! I wanna thank him for the amaizng friendship that we have. I hope it just keeps getting stronger.

Summer is going great so far, I'm keeping busy with work. I am still loving working at Maurices, I love all of the girls I work with, they are so funny and we have such a great time working together! I am also trying to find time to catch some ray's of sun as well. I am so happy it's summer. It is my favorite season by far!

I just snapped a few pictures of my apartment. I deep cleaned it really good last week so I took some pictures to show. I didn't take any of my room because it wasn't super clean and the living room was still being cleaned.

Masquerade

A few weeks ago my friend Kylie Wack gave me and my roommates a visit! Kylie, Allie and I went to the Pizza Factory for dinner! It was very delicious! I love the Pizza Factory! I decided that the one down here is so much better than the one in Cedar haha. After that my roommate Ashey and her boyfriend were all dressed up and asked us if we wanted to go to the Masquerade that was as the school with them. So we contemplated it but then decided to go. Ashley let us borrow some of her prom dresses form like the 80's. It was fun to wear them and paint our faces. It was fun, we danced the night away. We got a lot of looks but it was so worth it.

I FiNALLY GOT A JOB

So I've been looking for a new job for a while now so the other day I got really really motivated and went and looked for a job. I went into a few places and I got a few applications. I applied at Maurices and they called me later that day and asked if I could have an interview with them. So Monday of this week I had my interview, then yesterday (Thursday) they called and asked if I was interested in the job. I said yes! They told me to come in for orentation that same day! So I started my first day of work at Maurices yesterday! I also work on Saturday! I am so exicted to work there! I've never worked in retail, a clothes store or anything! I am so excited to start this new job, so I can stay in St. George for the summer! I don't want to move home! No offence anyone I love you all but Richfield at my age isn't what's for me!

On a side note Britt, Andre' and I just finished up our Co-ed volleyball league! I can't believe how much Andre' improved from week one to the last week! He is amazing and very athletic! Thanks for playing with us every week Broada!
I am so happy that I have Britt and Dre down here! It's so nice having family here! Thanks for everything that you guys do for me! I LOVE YOU BRiTTANY & ANDRE'!

I also want to tell my parents and little sister Addie how much I love you guys! I am happy I get to talk to all of you at least ONCE a day! Thanks for all of your love and support! My mom is so intelligent and such a hard worker! I wish I was as smart and as well educated as her! She is so amazing! I love her so much! She is truly one of my hero's!I LOVE YOU MOM! So is my dad! He is always doing something to support our family! He is always working or reffing! He is very very unselfish. Thanks for teaching me to find any opportunity to make money! I LOVE YOU DAD!
Addie is just so funny! I can't believe she is already 16! She is a good driver, it's fun driving in goldmember with her! She is so good at sports! She is trying out being a setter on her club team, and she is doing amazing might I add! Even though she is younger than me I look up to her! I try to be the best example to her than I can be! I LOVE YOU ADDiE!

School is almost over! YES! I survived my first year of college! I now know I want to get my associates soon so I am going to work really really hard next year!

Thanks for being the BEST SISTER EVER! If there was an award, you'd have it! You've taken care of me since the day I came home from the hospital. I may not have always liked it when you've been like a mom to me but I really appreciate it! I'm not very good at typing and expressing my words but I'll try my best!

You are the best sister ever! Thanks for everything! If it was telling me to share candy with my friends on my birthday, cleaning up my knee from a bad crash on my bike, stopping a fight, or while you were at College when I was arguing with Mom and Dad you'd ALWAYS be there to talk to me and help me through my problems and trials. Or now days helping me with my homework, paying for me to play volleyball with you, inviting me over for dinner, playing volleyball with me and helping stick up for me, or just letting me hang out with you or talk to you when I need someone to talk to! I could go on and on about how you are the best sister ever! I know we are in a family for many reasons! I know why you were chosen to be the big sister! I know all of this is true! I am so happy to call you my big sister! You are a great wife, daughter, sister, best friend, teammate, coworker, and someday mother! I am so happy I moved to St. George! This past weekend I went to Cedar City to watch Addie play in the 2A State Tournament. Thursday they played Kanab and dominated! Addie did so amazing! Friday they played Grand and it was close but they won! Saturday was the final game! They played South Sevier, and won in Double OT! Congrats to the Lady Cats! Way to stop the 3 peat!
