Uncle Nathan's Wedding

Over Mother's Day Weekend/my birthday... my Uncle Nathan and his Wife Stephanie got married in the Salt Lake Temple.
It was a beautiful day.
My parents and Addie drove up to STG on Friday.
We went into my work and bought my mom some stuff.
Then Addie and I went and got "SWiG" drinks for everyone.
We met my parents at Costco and ate a little pizza.
Then we went to Britts to pack up the car and we were off to Richfield.
We got to Richfield and visited with the grandparents, Aunt She, Diane and The Barclays.
It's not a trip to Richy without the Dairy.
We watched a really awesome movie my dad's cousin Eric made about our great grandma Addie in celebration of her 100th b-day.
It was neat to see our great, great-great grandparents and hear the stories that my dad and grandparents told about them.
Then we had a good family talk in the basement at Grandma C's
Woke up bright and early Saturday morning to get up north.
My cousin Trevor received his endowments that morning.
So my parents and Britt went to that while Addie and I got ready at our uncle's
Then it was time for the wedding.
Addie, Sophie and I hung out during the ceremony.
And took a TON of pictures.
The day was beautiful and it was great to be with the family.
By the end of the day we were pooped and headed back to Uncle Kyle's ate some b-day cake, watched some b-ball and hit the hay.
The next day was Mothers Day.
It was so good to be with Grandma C and my Mom on that special day.
Now enjoy some pictures...

first week of the new job

Well my first week of work went AMAZING!!!
I am on my feet all day so it's hard getting used to that, cuz I was used to sitting for most of my day.
I did a little shopping this past week.
Got two pairs of black skinny jeans and some black flats.
Here is me on my first day of work.
All the girls at my work wear TOMS.
And to be honest they weren't really my style and I didn't think they were the cutest shoes
but all the girls love them.
And when I am on my feet 7 or more hours a day 5 days a week I better get something comfortable.
So.... I think I may be getting an early Birthday present from my parents...
These are the kind I want.

So I guess we will see if I like them or not.
The dress code at work is black pants... dressy... or skinny... or black jeans and a cute top.
SO it was nice to get some new pants.
I will post pictures of them sometime this week.

I can't even begin to tell you that I don't know what I am going to do with all my free time...
Well actually yes, I do. I am going to start dieting and working out.
I have realized so much that diet and exercise is a huge way of life and if I want to live a happy healthy lifestyle and look good and feel good I have got to make some changes...
I found 3 new stretch marks on my tummy and it completely devastated me...
I am not gonna lie I have cried about this a few times...
I just don't want to get big and be big and stay big because food makes me happy and I love to eat...
I was on pintrest.... which OMG I love it... It's my new addiction.
Hence why I have neglected my blog so badly.
But I came across a pin and it was pictures of a girl who looked like this...
I read her story and it made me cry and it motivated me and moved me in many many ways.
If you'd like to you can read it here...
She has recipes, meal ideas and so many other great things.
I seriously wouldn't mind looking like that.
I just know I have got to buckle down and do it....
I know I have been telling myself that for a long time and I have done it on and off but if I am not going to do it now when will i do it???
When it's too late or I have gotten too big or the people of Richfield think I am prego hahaha
Oh wait that one has already happened!!!!
I am ready to look good in a bikini again.
And to feel comfortable and sexy..
And wear types of clothes that I can feel ok to wear.
I really can't wait.
It's my time and I will NOT gain the wait and some more back.
Anyway... this is what is on my mind this Sunday night...
I am looking forward to an amazing week of work, working out. and eating good.
Hope ya'll enjoyed!

A LITTLE MiA

As I am sitting here watching a movie, on facebook, pintrest and looking for a dress for my Uncle's wedding in May... I happened to look at a few blogs and have realized that....  I have been a little MIA since what NOVEMBER...
What the heck?
I feel so lost from the blogging world....
So much has happened since November.
I am sure most of you know what has happened...
Chris and I broke up.
My job was stressing the CRAP outta me.
Had an amazing Christmas with my family.
Lived with a place where I had no internet so it was really hard to blog..
Reffed tons of basketball.
In January my boss opened another daycare so she asked me to open it so I was working at two day-cares in a day kinda like having two jobs.
Wanting to loose weight and work out.
Getting motivated to lose weight and work out.
Went to a Big Time Rush concert in Vegas with Mikayli
Had some really rough times with work...
So about a few weeks ago Dre's buddy Luke texted him asking him if I was interested in a job because his wife's work was hiring.
Someone was truly looking out for me...
He was saying "HELLO TORI here is your opportunity for a new job".
So I applied, had an interview, then a second with the DM, had to do a drug test and a background check
and I got a call last week saying I got the job.
Salon Centric say hello to your newest employee.
Salon Centric is not a salon.
It's a beauty supply store that only licensed  professionals may shop.
They have tons of nice things and I get 40% off too! Woo Hoo.
I start tomorrow (Monday) and I am so excited!
Also I found someone to color my hair and this is how I wanna do it...
I am so excited!
Here are more pictures of what's been going on...

Anyways. Hope you enjoy the post.
Until next time.
Peace and Love

Can you believe that.
Well I saw this cute little pin that had a thankful tree on  there like this one...

And I decided we should do a Thankful tree.
But I never really got around to it.

Yup... I did it again/ Chris' 22nd Birthday

Well I dyed my hair brown again..
I was ready and needed a change and my hair was FRIED from all the bleach in it.
So I thought why not go brown.
Plus Chris LOVES it so thats good too, right?

On a side note nothing too exciting happened in August.
Volleyball started so I am reffing that and working.
Chris is keeping busy with work and taking good care of me.
He turned 22 on September 1st.
His original plan for his birthday was I bought him a ticket to go to Seattle to see his old friends and just spend some time up there. But we ended up having to move out of out place and a few other things came up so we had to put his trip on hold.
But I acted like we weren't doing much for his birthday.
So he thought I was just bringing him breakfast to his work.
But I ended up going to the dollar store and getting a bunch of balloons and candy and some other stuff along with his breakfast to take to his work.
I also got him a card with some gift cards in it and the new Lil Wayne Carter 4 cd.
His face was priceless going into his work.
After work we went to Applebees for dinner.
It wasn't a huge special birthday but I tried my hardest.
Here are 22 reasons why I LOVE CHRIS!
  1. He always gives me great advice
  2. He helps build me up when I am down.
  3. He plans stuff out for our future.
  4. He helps me remember the important things in life.
  5. He is a hard worker.
  6. He inspires me to do better.
  7. He loves me for me.
  8. Even when he is right he still will listen to me, usually he is always right.
  9. Family is as important to him as it is to me.
  10. He LOVES sports and so do I.
  11. He is athletic.
  12. He helps us remember to say our prayers every night.
  13. He is always willing to help me out.
  14. He moved us both times on his own.
  15. His physical features: smile, eyes, body, tan skin, dark hair, etc.
  16. How he tires to better himself and us daily
  17. How he is willing to change and do things for me even tho he doesn't always love it,
  18. How strong he has become, emitionally.
  19. His positive attitude.
  20. His happiness with himself.
  21. He helps me remember how much the little things count in life.
22.I love him for him and I wouldn't change anyting about him ever.
I am so glad I have spent another b-day and another year with this boy.
We have been through a lot and I wouldn't change any of it for the world.
I am so thankful and grateful to have you in my life.
Thanks for everything.
I love you!

Rex Family Reunion. Nanny and Grandpa's 50th Wedding Celebration.

In the last weekend in July we had a family reunion with the Rex side of the family.
We were celebrating my Nanny and Grandpa's 50th wedding anniversary.
Which meant we got to go to Richfield and see BOTH side of the family which is ALWAYS a bonus.
We went up to Richfield Thursday night.
We stayed at Grandma and Grandpa C's which is always a bonus.
Grandma even made us two batches of peanut butter bars.
MMM I love them.
So we got to Richy and visited with the Christensen family.. Aunt She, Rish, Ty, The Barclays and Grandma and Grandpa C!
I love being in Richfield and spending time with family.
Then we headed over to My Nanny and Grandpas house to see the other side of the family.
My Uncle Kevin made a really awesome slide show of my Nanny and Grandpas first 50 years of marriage.
It was fun to see the pictures of my mom and her siblings when they were little.
My mom was a used to be a little chunck. Can you believe that?
Because I couldn't haha.
They slide show made me a little teary eyed. But then again what doesn't.
The next day we woke up BRIGHT and EARLY and headed up to Manti.
The parents did a session in the temple and the kids did baptizims.
My cousin Celeste, Addie and I watched my Uncle Jud's girls.
They are SOOO adorable.
And oh boy let me tell ya we had a ball!
We finished getting ready in the visitors center bath room.
Added some curls to the girls hair.
Then we played lots of fun things outside,
Like...
Dance concerts.
Sang songs.
Ring around the rosies.
Played tag..
Then we got hungry and I was craving a COKE so we drove down to Millers Drive Inn.
We all got ice cream and had a ball.
Finally everyone was done at the temple.
We went to the motel to check in.
We stayed at the Temple View Lodge

Got changed and went to the luncheon at the Manti House,
The food was much better then when I remembered it last time.
We heard stories about how nanny and gpa met ate laughed and just had a good time.
Since there wasn't a pool in Manti or really anything else to do we decided to walk up Manti's main street and checked out all the cute little shops.
We had a fun time.
We got back from window shopping and put a blanket on the grass and just relaxed while the little girls and adults took their naps.
Then my mom and Uncle Jud decided that we were going to have hot dogs and salads and chips for dinner.
So while that was being prepped for all of us we were playing volleyball and sat around and chatted.

After that we walked up to the temple to watch the sunset. It was BEAUTiFUL.
Then we walked back to the motel and had s'mores for dessert.
The next day we woke up, had breakfast and parted our ways.
Some of the family went back home and the rest of us went back to RICHY!
We hung out some more.
Went swimming.
Did a cute craft
Here is mine
I don't know why it won't flip but it won't.
I think I want to make more of theses but do just a T then a & and a C too.
So thats what I wanna work on next.
It was so much fun seeing both sides of the families and spending time with them as well.
Here are more picutres of the weekend.
