Back To School

I started my first day at MCC on Monday. I loved it. Everyone was so friendly. I made a new friend in my first class which is English. She is such a sweet and friendly lady. Her name is Laura. We sat by each other in class and got to know one another and found out we have another class together too. Tuesday is my LONG day. I have class from 2-5 then a two hour break and then class from 7-10. Before I got there I was freaking out. I was thinking how am I ever gonna sit at MCC for two hours all by myself? Luckily I had a girl in my math class (which is my 2 o'clock class) who has the same Tuesday schedule as me. Boy am I lucky. So I got to know her. She is a sweet awesome mom of 3. We decided that we are going to carpool over to Colorado City together on Tuesdays. It's gonna be awesome. So far I LOVE all of my classes. The class sizes are small but I love it, the teachers are AWESOME! I will let you know how my third day of class goes.
Another cool thing that MCC does. The first week of class they have free hot dogs and popcorn for the students. Needless to say I've had a bag of popcorn and two hot dogs. It's a good inbetween/ break snacks.

Cookie Night

Last Friday my STG BFF Jade Alisa and I decided we wanted to make cookies. We had so much fun.  We went to walmart bought some stuff to make cookies. Got a drink at Mavrick and went to Britt's to make the cookies. I always have so much fun with this girl. We also played a little guitar hero. Here are some pics from the night.

A few of my favorite things... as of right now.

Ever since I worked at Maurices I have been really into clothes.
Like A LOT!
I love style, fashion, and trends.
Here are a few of my favorite things that are clothes and a few other stuff too :)

  •  Ugg Boots. (Fact.. I used to hate these and think they were the ugliest things ever invented) Now I love them.
  • Skinny Jeans. Another thing I hated. I made fun of Brittany for wearing them. Now I love them. You can wear them in the summer and cuff them up a little. Or you can wear them in the winter with some cute boots.

  • Jeans with cute stitching and cute butts. I wish I could afford a pair or trues, MEK, or miss me. But I will be fine with my wanna be ones. Miss Chic ones.

  •  Scarves. A fun summer or winter accessory.

  •  Big purses and flat wallets. I love having a big purse. It's just a Tori thing. I also really like those flat wallets. They are small and nice and can fit a check book :)

  • Headbands. Ah I love these things. I love to wear them around my head like a hippie or to get my hair out of my face. I can really start wearing them slicky back because I am growing my bangs out.

  • Cardigans. They might be a little old ladyish but I love them. They are a great way to dress up your clothes and add a little something to a outift. I like that you can get them with our without sleeves too. I have both options. :)

  •  If you know me you know I love anything zebra print & peace sings too. I love that they are instyle. I have to many zebra clothes. I can't buy anymore haha. I just got a pretty sweet zebra print peace sign sticker for my car. I love it.

  • Belts. Ah I love belts. I love wearing them with shirts and desses. They are fun and add a little somethin to your outfit. Plus I am lucky enough to have some of my mom's belts from the 80's

Sorry for the boring blog. I just wanted to blog and nothing too exciting will be going on with my life until next week when I start school and my new job. I can't wait!  I will let you all know how it goes :)

    My Favorite Teacher

I stole this blog idea from my girl Kelli! I love her she is so awesome. We had the amazing opportunitity to work together for a few months. She is such an awesome girl and so easy to talk to.

She blogged about her favorite teacher.
Since I am majoring in Elementary Education this teacher is one of the reasons why I want to be a teacher and why I want to teach this grade.

Oh second grade. Oh the memories. This grade is one of the grades that I have the most memories of.
    Mr. Nate Tebbs.
I remember how much he loved making us laugh.
He is such an amazing wonderful man. He made learning so much fun.
If it was drawing pictures of me and Stetson Laws on the chalk board... (he was my second grade crush)
Mr. T gave us a hard time.
He taught us to have fun, be outgoing, something to "crow about".
To never let our dreams fail. He always supported every single one of us.
We sang songs I'll always remember. Taught us games that I will always play.
I still remember me and my girlfriends in that class would go to the back of the classroom after recess and primp in the mirror, he was so patient with us.
He made a huge impact on my life. He was patient with me. He wanted me to learn, success in life and grow.
But he taught us how learning is so much fun. I still see this man around Richfield and I can talk to him and I feel like I am back in second grade.
I know this is a secret but he told me, my parents, and my grandparents that I am his most favorite student ever. How exciting is that? I hope I didn't offend anyone but it makes me excited

So many people ask why I want to teach second grade. I tell them, it's because it was my FAVORiTE grade ever and Mr. T was my most FAVORiTE teacher ever.
Thanks so much Mr. T for making a great impression in my life and helping me shoot for the stars, dream big and helping inspire me to want to know what I wan to be when I grow up.
I really hope when I am a teacher I can make an impact on everyone of my future students lives.

Let me know who your favorite was teacher and why?
    With love
    Tori

    New Years

I was able to go up to Richfield for a week and I loved it.
A few of mu girl friends got together from High School. It was fun, but we missed those who couldn't make it.
Me and Brianna went on a date with some boys too!
I did the usual on New Years eve and day.
Hung out at Grandma C's. Ate way way to much, played games, and thew the "cousin confetti"
Also played basketball... It was way different without Addie, Britt and Dre tho :(
I also hung out with Stephanie and Tyler Ned too! That was tons of fun! Here are some more pics! Enjoy!
The rest of my pictures are on my Facebook!
