Halloween 2010

I feel like I've been doing Halloween all weekend.
It started Thursday night when Amelia and I went to Thriller.
Then Friday I had the party at the pre-school.
The party was so fun.
We had no hand doughnut eating contests.
Guess the goo.
Crafts.
Whipped-Shaving Creme Painting.
Face Painting.
Mummy Wrapping.
Cookie Decorating.
Games.
And Trunk-Or Treating.
That night Chris and I went to Cedar City and went to The Howl there.
It was fun because we've never been to a dance together.
But it was sorta lame because it was only me and him.
But I loved dancing the night away with him.
And Saturday I was a bum for the first part of the day.
Cleaned my room.
And my roomies and me got ready to go to The Howl at Dixie.
Which was way more fun.
Too bad it took us forever to get ready
and forever to find Staheli Farms.
But for the little time we were there we had A BLAST!
On a side note I wanna brag about me being so crafty and being Miss Susy Homemaker.
I made my cute tutu for my costume for the preschool party.
Fixed my roomie's Halloween outfit.
Did Amelia's hair.
Saved my roomie's bum for her Halloween costumes.
Fixed Chris' Halloween costume.
Hmmm I think that's it, but I am so very proud of myself.

Thriller

I've never been to Thriller before.
 But Britt and Dre have been.
Britt always tells me how much fun it is and how much she loves it.
So my roomie Amelia was telling me that we should go. So we decided to go.
We had front row seats which were SiCK!!!!
And it was the perfect way to kick off my Halloween Weekend and to put me in the spirit for Halloween.
I loved every second of it.
The dancing. The Zombies. The crazy "little girl", The guys in masks.
Which I might add that they pointed at me. I was FREAKiNG OUT!
But I loved it all and I am so happy I went.
And I saw the LOVELY Karolann Mason.
She did an awesome job as a Zombie.

But that wasn't the only lame thing he did.
He also spilled his drink ALL over and under our chairs.

Workout Schedule

Here is my workout schedule.
The card workout is.
You have face cards.
You shuffle them up and put 20 cards in 4 piles
and on the last one 12 cards.
2 minute rest in-between each pile of cards.
Hearts: (which is the shoulder press)
 Diamonds: (Arms and legs opposite, make sure and keep arms and legs in swinging motion like a pendulum keep arms and legs straight) This will work your back, butt, arms and legs
Spades: Abs (make sure and go up and down and touch your shins. This works your abs and tummy.)

Spades: (one legged squats.)
The best way to start out is get a stool and do the squat till the stool or a small chair with someone holding your hands for help.
Until you get stronger and then go all the way down without someones help.

Like the person in helping in the picture, but make sure they are stand up.
Monday:  Warm up. Jump rope for 1 min. Card work-out.
Tueday: Run Stars. (or run on the track or treadmill)
Wednesday: 1 min warm up jump rope. Card work-out
Thursday: Sprints.
Friday: Cardworkout. Squats, Shoulder Press. Abs, Opposite arms and legs and push ups.
Don't forget to do a cool down. Drink lots of water and Stretch!

Diet.

I had a few people ask me more about my diet like what I am eating and what I am doing for my work-outs.
The foods of this diet consisit of...
Breakfast foods:
 A cup of Kashi-go-lean cereal. (Any flavor you want)
you can have this with a cup of milk(skim or 0% kind) with half a banana cut up on it.
Or with plain non-fat-yogurt with half a banana cut up on it.
Or a cup of yougart with a banana.
Half of an English muffin with one strip of turkey bacon and hard boiled egg whites.
A piece of wheat bread with soy peanut butter and a tiny bit of honey.
Lunch/ Dinner
Half a can of canned chicken and half a bag of iceberg lettuce.
(You can have some vinaigrette dressing but not too much)
Tuna with a piece of bread and sprinkle some cheese.
(sorry no mayo)
one chicken breast with a cup of whole wheat rice.
or a small sirloin with rice or a potato (if it's a big potato only have half)
hamburger (ground beef) with rice or a potato
tuna melt.
or even have a English muffin breakfast food.
And1/2 an apple or banana for dessert.
You can season your potatoes, rice and meat with butter spray and very little salt and pepper.
You want to balance out what you eat.
So if you have milk at breakfast you can't have it for the rest of the day.
Your fruits are a part of your desserts.
 For snacks. (which are between lunch and dinner, that's when I do it)
1 cup of cheese its or gold fish.
1 cup of granola
1 cup of nuts
fruit
string cheese.
jerky.
Drinks.
milk (0%, skim)
Orange Juice
If you need you may have pop, but keep it diet.
You're supposed to drink a gallon of water every day.
The best thing to drink is water.
If you like fish you may have that as well.
The first week is the very hardest.
But I am doing good. I've done it for a week.

My diet.

(Warnign this is a post without pictures)
Lets start from this.
Chris is like a body builder.
And me and Kelsey want to get toned up and "improve out imperfections"
So one night we were talking to Chris and he said he would set us up a eating and diet plan.
So we started this week.
It has been pretty hard.
He said the first week is the hardest.
And welp, we are almost done with the first week.
So I've survived the first week.
And it's not really that bad.
I just drink lots of water.
It's a cleansing diet.
And it's pretty much cutting down on sugars, dairy and eating healther.
That means bye-bye to my daily caffeinated carbonated drink.
And working out.
I ran my mile on Monday in 9 minuets.
Not to bad but plenty of room for improvement.
And I've lost 5 pounds.
We started Monday October 18th.
We end: Monday December 20th.
Two months.
I can do this.
Wish me luck!

Date Night/ Celebration Dinner

Last Thursday night, Chris and I went out to dinner.
Why? Because he got a new job.
He got a job at Furniture Row/Sofa Market.
He is a Sales Manager.
So we decided to go out to dinner to celebrate.
We got all fancied up and went and ate at Benja's.
P.S. It was so yummy.
Here we are all fancied up.

Amelia my roomie came home so I made her take a pictures of us.
By this time I had taken my shoes off and Chris undid his tie, but I made him fix it for our picture. :)

LoL

On Wednesday I got my Spanish test back.
As we were going though it with the class, we got to the part where we had to write a note to one of our friends.
Well I didn't know some of the words from English to Spanish, so I made of some of my own.
Apparently my Spanish teacher thought it was funny, so he wrote LoL on my test.
Here is a picture to prove it! :)
