Merry Christmas

Hey!
I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
I can't believe that Christmas day is over! But we had a fun but different one.
I asked my parents for a lap top this year. I was asking Addie about my lap top on Wednesday when we got here. She thought it would be funny and play a joke on me, she told me my lap top was on back order and it wouldn't be here for a few more weeks...
We woke up at 9 opened presents and after everyone was done.... Addie said wait one last thing and pulled out my lap top from behind the couch. What a little sneaky snake! haah!
My dad and Dre went golfing. While they were golfing.
Britt, mom, addie and me made
  •  7 layer dip
  • Grandma Addie's honey candy (which might I add wasn't even near as good as hers)
  • Sugar Cookies

We ate lots today, relaxed, and played games! What a fun Christmas day!
I'll post pictures later!

Bragging Rights

This whole Kingman move has been hard and stressful for all of us.
One of the hardest things was Addie's move and getting cleared to play high school sports.
She was able to practice with the team but not play.
It's hard going through rough parts in life and sometimes we don't understand why we have that trial or why we have to go through hard things. But finally our prayers were answered.
She got cleared to play on a perfect day.
Her team had a game and she got to play
She had the best game of her life... so far!
It's neat to know that she is wanted and needed in Kingman.
It's nice to know that a coach actually recognizes and rewards good players.
Instead of how close you are to the coach, or what part of town you live in, or if they like your family or not.
This coach has truly been a blessing to our family! He is an awesome guy!
So this whole post is about an awesome article about my little sister that was in the local news paper in Kingman. Here it is!

KINGMAN - Addie Christensen's transfer to Kingman High from Richfield, Utah, looks to bode well for the Lady Bulldogs basketball team. Christensen recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in her first game for KHS in a 71-60 non-region win over Bullhead City Mohave Tuesday at KHS.

"I want to bring good energy and good defense to the team," she said. "It feels good." The Richfield Lady Wildcats went undefeated last year and won the Utah 2A state championship with a 24-0 record.

"Addie's great," senior Dominique Hale said. "She shows a lot of confidence on the court." Hale scored 9 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in the game.

Ohhhoooo! I am so proud of you Addie! You are such an amazing athlete!

I look so good (without you)

My cousin Miriam showed me this song... This is now mine and her new theme song! I like it!
"I Look So Good (Without You)"

Hey boy I would of thought that when you left me
I'd be broken with my confidence gone.. so bummed..
Hey boy I would of thought that when you said that you don't want me
I'd feel ugly n sense something was wrong
Standing in front of the mirror.. my skin's never been clearer
My smile's never been brighter

I look so good without you
Got me a new hairdo
Lookin' fresh n brand new
Since you said "that we're through"
Done.. with your lies
Baby now my tears dried
You can see my brown eyes
Ever since you said goodbye
I look so good, I look so good without you
I look so good, I look so good without you

Hey I'd never would of thought that when you left me
I'd feel sexy n so good in my skin again
And I'd never would of known that
I'd be dreamin' so much better without you in my head
Standing in front of the mirror.. my clothes never fit better
My life's never been brighter

I look so good without you
Got me a new hairdo
Lookin' fresh n brand new
Since you said "that we're through"
Done.. with your lies
Baby now my tears dried
You can see my brown eyes
Ever since you said goodbye
I look so good, I look so good without you
I look so good, I look so good without you

Now baby my body's lookin' better than before
Ain't bitin' my nails since you walked out of that door
I realized now I deserve so much more than what you give
Than what you give (than what you give..)

I look so good without you
Got me a new hairdo
Lookin' fresh n brand new
Since you said "that we're through"
I look so good without you
Got me a new hairdo
Lookin' fresh n brand new
Since you said "that we're through"
Done.. with your lies
Baby now my tears dried
You can see my brown eyes
Ever since you said goodbye

I look so good without you
Got me a new hairdo
Lookin' fresh n brand new
Since you said "that we're through"
Done.. with your lies
Baby now my tears dried
You can see my brown eyes
Ever since you said goodbye
I look so good ,I look so good without you
I look so good, I look so good without you

It Just Hit Me....

Warning this is just a post with no pictures. I hate posts without pictuers, but I am allowed a post here and there without pictures. :)

As I was looking around on facebook like I do always, I came across my two friends talking about how they were going to get together over christmas break with all of my girlfriends from high school....
I began thinking... Then it hit me....
This will be my first Christmas in 19 years that I haven't spent Christmas in Richfield....
I can't believe it!
I am going to miss going to all of my families houses (who live in Richfield) and seeing what Santa brought them.
I will miss Christmas Day Dinner at Grandma C's... I will miss the excitement of everyone in the family and just being around my whole family.
Christmas this year will be very interesting and different this year.....
Christmas in a new house...
Christmas in a different state...
Christmas without lots of family...
Don't get me wrong I am so excited for Christmas, but with all of the changes that have happened this year I have to be ready for change.
Don't worry Barclay's I WILL be in Richfield for New Years!
Melissa I am going to need to get my hair colored while I am home!
I could not ever miss out on CHRiSTENSEN family basketball, Shopping at Christensen's and last but not least cousin confetti!
You might need to clean the spare room and get it ready for me.
I love my family so much.
They all have been such a great love and support for me and my family!
It truly shows me how much family is important to me!
I especially wanna give a special shout out to my sister Brittany!
Thanks for all of the stuff you've helped me with this week. (you know what it is)
Don't know what I'd do without you! Thanks sis!
I am also sorry for the fight we got in on Wednesday night. You know what sports do to me sometimes. Sorry for getting mad at you! I love you sister!
Also Addie, I am sorry you've been sick for the past week. I hope and pray that you will get feeling better soon and that your diabeties will get under control! I love you my little big sister.
I am sorry there are no pictures but this was just a few thoughts on my mind :)
Have a good night!

The Stranger

The Stranger

At Christmas time there was a man
who looked so out of place,
as people who rushed about him
at a hurried sort of pace.

He stared at all the Christmas lights,
the tinsel everywhere,
The shopping centre, Santa Claus,
with children gathered near.

The Mall was packed with shoppers
who were going to and fro,
Some with smiles and some with frowns
and some too tired to go.

They rested on the benches
or they hurried on their way,
to fight the crowd for purchases
to carry home that day.

The music from a stereo
was playing loud and clear
of Santa Claus, and snow men,
and a funny-nosed reindeer.

He heard the people talk about
the good times on the way,
Of parties, fun, and food galore,
and gifts exchanged that day.

"I'd like to know what's going on,"
the man was heard to say,
"There seems to be some sort of
celebration on the way.

"And would you tell me who this is,
all dressed in red and white?
And why are children asking him
about a special night"?

The answer came in disbelief,
"I can't believe my ear!
I can't believe you do not know
that Christmas time is here,

The time when Santa comes around
with gifts for girls and boys,
When they're asleep on Christmas,
he leaves them books and toys".

"The man you see in red and white
is Santa Claus, so sly,
The children love his joyful laugh
and twinkle in his eye.

"His gift packed sleigh is pulled
along by very small reindeer,
As he flies quickly through the air,
while darting here and there.

"The children learn of Santa
while they are still quite small.
When Christmas comes, he is the most
important one of all."

The stranger hung his head in shame,
he closed a nail-pierced hand.
His body shook in disbelief;
he did not understand.

A shadow crossed his stricken face,
his voice was low but clear,
"After all these years, they still don't know."
And Jesus shed a tear.

I stole this from my friend Liz's blog. Hope she doesn't mind . It touched me. I hope it'll touch you too!
Remember what CHRiSTmas time is REALLY about!

It's soo late!

It's so late and I can't sleep!
I have so much on my mind!
I don't even know where to begin!
I've read my scriptures, said my prayers, ready my partarical blessing.
I should be ready for bed. But
I can't sleep and I just hate it
I just have some quotes that I wanna share...
Quotes help me in my good and bad times, so does music!
I'm not having a hard time or anything I just have so much on my mind!
Good night blog! I will try and sleep now! :)
I'm young. I don't need a boy to love, hold and kiss. I won't always be able to relax and be a kid, but I'll always be able to love, so I'm gonna get out there and liven up this world, leave my mark, make a difference because in five years I might want to rewind but I can't, So I'll stop worrying about that boy, now is the time of my life. I'll make mistakes and not care and make memories that will never fade. I'll live it up and live it crazy. I'm only young once, so I am gonna do this right. Drop the drama, screw the calories, and never question my actions... See ya later boy, I have HiSTORY TO MAKE! :)

Thanksgiving Pictures

Here are some pictures of Thanksgiving. I forgot my camera so Britt took it up north to use. Because my camera ROCKS! So Addie was nice enough to let me use her camera. I feel bad for not getting a picture with Chan. I don't know where he dissappeared to when Addie and I were taking pictures with the boys.
(Melissa tell Chan I am sorry that I forgot him) I will take a picture with him when I come up over Christmas Break!
Nothing else new is going on.
I am hoping my dad can get down to Kingman very very soon!

New Moon

Last year Britt and I went to Twilight together. So we decided to make it a tradition to go see the Twilight saga series together. We even brought Dre along too! Here are some pictues of us waiting in line.

I was able to go home for Thanksgiving for a few days. My mom and Addie came up for Az. We had amazing food at my grandma c's! She is such a wonderful and amazing cook!
I was lucky enough to spend time with both sides of my families. I had cousins from the Rex's side come up. We always have a blast together.
Addie and I got to hang out with The Adroable Barclay boys too!
I enjoyed the few days of Thanksgiving that I had off! I loved it!
On Sunday night Britt and I got set up for Christmas. I will take some pictures of our trees to show everyone.
Enjoy the New Moon pics!

Halloween Weekend

I know I'm a little slow but I need to update my blog on what I did over Halloween weekend!
I went and visited my cousin Mimi. She goes to college at BYU. We had so so so much fun. On Friday we went shopping for some fun outfits to wear to a big dance party that was at the alpine student housing. It was a big dance party in the parking garage of the building. It was a blast. We wore tights, short shorts, bright colored shirts, and sequence head bands.

On Saturday we went to her Uncle's hung out with his kids and got ready for the day. We went shopping at the mall and had so much fun. Then we went back to her Uncle's and took her cousins trick-or-treating for a little bit. After that we got pizza, slurpees and went back to her apartment to get ready for the night. Mimi and I decided to be nerds. We had a blast! We went to her friend's house and met a bunch of people, danced, ate, mingled and just had a blast!
Thanks for the amazing fun filled weekend Mimi! Lets do it again! I love you Mi Fav Prima!

My hero

My Hero is..... My amazing little sister Addie!
I am so proud of her! Since my mom moved to Arizona my little sister has been momless. I can't even imagine how hard it would be to not have my mom around when I lived at home. Especially how close they are too. She made the brave decision to move to Kingman to live with my mom. She moves this weekend. Hopefully my dad can get down there soon too! I am sad that I won't be in the same state as my family but I am only four hours or so away from them!
I am excited for my family to start their new life! I am glad they all have listenen to the spirit. Because if we didn't have any guidance in our lives I don't know what we would do!
I am excited for my little sister to start her new life! I love you Addie! You are so brave and I am so proud of all the decisions you've made!
Brittany is my hero too... I have many heroes but I had to express my apprecation, and gratitude to my amazing little sister!
